FOTD: My First Face of the Day

Hooray to my first ever FOTD or face of the day. I'll be doing an EOTD or an eye of the day as well so watch out for that. So back to the FOTD! 

Can you guys tell that I'm actually on...hhhmm...what should I call it? For new couples, it's the honeymoon stage but there isn't really a word to describe people who are enamored with using newly bought makeup. Anyway, that's how I feel with my new 180 palette. So much so that I created this look one random afternoon.

It's not really something original but I just wanted to try the look out.

Eyes

Here's what I did for the eyes: skin tone on the lids, highlighted under brow area and two different shades of brown on the crease. I winged out the eyeliner and made it a little thicker.

Lips

For the lips, I wanted to a matte finish so I went for just lipliner (tip!tip!). Oh, and before filling in my lips with lipliner, I put concealer on them (another tip!) to make the color show up better.

Final Look

Here's what the final FOTD looks like. You can't really see much of the color on my lids but they are there. You could probably wear this look when you're going out partying. The eye is pretty neutral so might as well wear this at a wedding too.
